- Turning a reaction into a specific instruction means converting vague critique such as "too generic" or "missed the point" into a precise, actionable change by naming exactly what would have to be present for the output to be right. A reaction names how the output feels; an instruction names exactly what to change so the next output differs. "Too generic" becomes naming the audience and the one action wanted from them; "missed the point" becomes stating the single question the output must answer up front. If the specific lever to change cannot be named, the critique is still a reaction, not yet an actionable fix.
