- Detecting phrases that quietly overstate capability means recognising a small set of recurring patterns, such as "fully automated", "Claude handles X", or "as good as a person at Y", that replace a bounded, defensible claim with an inflated one. Each removes or implies away the human gate; the fix for every pattern is the same: state what the tool actually does, then name the human checkpoint.
